In 2030, All Our Passenger Models Will Be Electric!

Ford EV

Ford Europe announced its transformation in the European market with the goal that all our passenger models will be produced as an all-electric or charged hybrid by 2026, and that all our passenger models will be all-electric by 2030!

Stuart Rowley, our President of Ford Europe, announced our investment and production plans in line with our goals from passenger to light commercial, from Ford's Cologne Factory to our Kocaeli Factories with his words: “We have successfully restructured Ford Europe and were back to profitability in the fourth quarter of 2020. We are now moving towards an all-electric future in Europe, with impressive new vehicles and a world-class connected customer experience."

Being the leader in light commercial vehicle sales in the European market for the sixth time in 2020, our brand aims to grow with its leading as well as the pioneering identity, especially with the product we will carry out at our Ford Otosan factories together with Volkswagen in the near future.

We aim to create solutions that will maximise customer experience and efficiency by creating a brand new ecosystem for commercial vehicles. In particular, we are working on innovations that will add efficiency to the business of fleet owners. We will meet the customer expectations of both passenger and commercial vehicles at the highest level with the data we will obtain from our cooperation with Google, which we announced recently. We will share more in detail the information about our global electrification plans and the actions we will take at our production centers in the coming months. Stay tuned!
