Özgür Yücetürk, our Assistant General Manager of Marketing, Sales and After Sales gave the much-anticipated good news: "Like Ford, we diversify and differentiate our SUV and SUV-inspired crossover models to suit the demands of different customer groups. There is a significant demand for our flagship New Ford Kuga that we have introduced to the market last month. Our highly anticipated crossover model, New Puma, also took its place in the Ford SUV world. In addition to its attention-drawing design, New Ford Puma offers safety, comfort, and driving technologies that will enable the users to live the future from now on, making driving and life easier. The trunk space, which is one of the most important handicaps of the B segment vehicles, is not a problem with New Ford Puma, which provides the largest trunk volume in its class. In addition, it provides an effortless and connected driving experience thanks to features such as five different driving modes, 7-speed automatic transmission that accompanies the gasoline engine, a 12.3-inch digital display screen with customization, advanced 8" touch screen and SYNC In-car Infotainment System, and wireless charging unit. The New Ford Puma also promises an efficient and environmentally friendly drive with the innovative EcoBoost hybrid technology that we provide for the first time in an automobile in Turkey. We look forward to bringing New Puma, which has taken its place in the Ford SUV world, with our customers."

Impressive interior and exterior design

New Ford Puma's low and sloping roofline, shoulder line rising from the front, and widening towards the back brings a dynamic and strong appearance. The horizontal two-piece taillight design not only offers a wider rearview but also facilitates luggage access and use.

The interior design of the New Ford Puma draws attention with its ergonomics, innovative approach, and comfort. Detachable and washable front and rear seat cover offered depending on the trim package help to keep the interior of the cabin as clean as the first day. With the contribution of our engineers and designers at Ford Otosan, the front seats are offered with increased lumbar support for increased comfort, while the increased wheelbase, vehicle height, and front-seat design with thin backrests also increase the living space in the New Ford Puma. In addition to this dimensional growth, the openable Panoramic Glass Roof design provides a spacious indoor environment.

Smooth and flowing lines running along the side body gain a more dynamic and lively appearance with the concave formation between the front and rear tires on the lower body. The dynamic and sporty stance is complemented by stylish details such as the front grille design, ST-Line body kit, 18'' inch alloy wheels, and LED fog lights, while a unique look emerges with the extraordinary LED headlights positioned above.

Ford MegaBox is in New Ford Puma

The New Ford Puma, which has the best luggage volume in its class, has an exceptionally comfortable trunk volume of 456 liters. Ford MegaBox, developed to meet customer requirements, brings a deep and versatile storage area. This additional storage space also offers an additional 80-liter trunk space of 763 mm wide, 752 mm long and 305 mm high. With this area, it is possible to put a load with 115 cm length in the trunk. In addition to that, it is easy to increase the loading area with the flat floor achieved by tilting the rear seats. Trunk functionality is supported by the adjustable three-level trunk floor and the Ford Smart Tailgate technology, first in its class.

Introducing the best trunk space in its class with 456 liters, the New Ford Puma reveals the next step of Ford's human-oriented design philosophy with its design details that consider pet owners as well. Trunk functionality is supported by the adjustable three-level trunk floor and Ford Smart Tailgate technology, a first in this class. Thanks to the special drain plug, the trunk area can also be easily washed.

Ergonomics, innovative approach, and comfort are at the forefront

The smart 12.3" color digital screen presented for the first time in Ford models with Kuga has a design language integrated with the vehicle dashboard to create a perfect continuity with the interior. The information is displayed in high resolution using intuitive icons that are easy to read and the color and layout of the information changes according to the selected driving mode. The priority of the information to be displayed can be set. Another innovation in the mid-console is the 8'' color touch screen and SYNC system offered as standard with the entry package, while this feature meets the users' need to be connected with their phones and safe driving with the wireless charging unit offered with the "St-Line".

More savings with the impressive fuel economy

As we enter a new era where more environmentally friendly and hybrid electric vehicles are preferred, New Ford Puma is letting you live the future in this direction. Available in new, forward-thinking, advanced EcoBoost hybrid gasoline engine options, Puma delivers an outstanding performance as well as impressive fuel economy and significantly lower CO2 emissions than classic internal combustion engines.

In the EcoBoost Hybrid technology, the small-volume gasoline engine is supported by the electromotor. An integrated starter/generator (BISG) with a power of 11.5 kW is connected to the Puma's 1.0-liter EcoBoost gasoline engine. Replacing the conventional alternator, BISG converts the kinetic energy generated during brake into electrical energy and uses this energy to charge the air-cooled lithium-ion battery. BISG also engages to support the three-cylinder petrol engine with added torque at normal driving and acceleration by using the stored energy. With the contribution of additional torque, the 155 PS version achieves 5.6 lt / 100 km* fuel consumption and 127 gr / km CO2 emission values (99 gr / km and 4.4 lt / 100 km NEDC).

More torque usage, faster gas responses

Thanks to the additional torque value provided by BISG, the system offers up to 50 percent more torque at lower revs. Thus, a smoother ride with better performance is obtained. Auto Start-Stop technology, which restarts the engine in just 300 milliseconds, contributes to fuel economy.

According to the WLTP norm, the 1.0-liter EcoBoost gasoline engine with 125 PS power achieves 138 gr/km CO2 emission and 6.1 l/100 km fuel consumption (110 gr/km and 4.95 l/100 km according to NEDC norm). This engine can also be combined with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The first in the industry, Ford's three-cylinder engine has a cylinder closure feature both in 1.0-liter EcoBoost and EcoBoost Hybrid engines. This feature closes or re-engages one of the three cylinders in just 14 milliseconds when power is not required.

Advanced safety and comfort technologies

The New Ford Puma, receiving 5 stars from Euro NCAP, is wholly checked by 12 ultrasonic sensors, 3 radars, and 2 cameras. The data obtained from all these systems are used to aid the driver during parking and maneuvering and establish a safer ride.

The New Ford Puma brings advanced driving support systems, an easier, less stressful, and safer driving experience. Packages such as Adaptive Cruise Control with the auto stop-and-go feature, Traffic Sign Identification System, E-Call, and Lane Tracking System provide a less stressful and safe ride on both highway and stop-and-go traffic.

The 180-degree rearview camera, a first in a B segment Ford, offers the opportunity to see pedestrians, cyclists, or other vehicles passing behind the vehicle earlier. Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with Cross-Traffic Alert feature does not only warn the driver about vehicles in the blind spot but also warns the driver about vehicles that are about to pass behind during reversing. If the driver does not react, the system can brake automatically.

Collision Avoidance System with Active Brake feature detects people who are close to or on the road or about to cross and aids the driver to prevent or reduce a possible impact. Secondary Collision Brake technology, activating in case of a possible collision, activates brakes to prevent a possible second collision. Emergency Maneuver Support system uses radar and cameras to detect vehicles that are slow or about to stop at urban roads and highways and adjust the steering support to aid the driver's maneuver.
